How You’ll Make an Impact

This position requires the ability to operate computers that use proprietary blending software.  Base oil is metered into tanks via a simultaneous blending system, along with additives, to create motor oil.  The job also requires the use of multiple chemical hoses, tanks, drum decanting, forklifts, fall protection equipment, and bulk tank wagon loading.  In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Operating forklifts, receiving materials, and putting them in the correct location
  • Operation of chemical hoses
  • Loading and unloading of tanker trucks.
  • Operation of “cocktail” tanks, batch blending, computerized blending, handling drums and totes, use of scales, pumps, and meters
  • Making machinery adjustments and performing inventory counts
  • Cleaning work areas, straightening, organizing for the next shift, and performing quality checks multiple times throughout the shift
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by Team Leads or Supervisors

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years in a manufacturing environment with blending knowledge preferred
  • Forklift experience
  • Good math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in oily and hot/cold environments
  • Ability to walk, bend, climb, stoop throughout the shift
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
